KakunaKakuna Kerina, is the Senior Advisor for Africa and the Senior Program Director at the International League for Human Rights where she develops initiatives and implements projects in the region promoting the defense of human rights and strengthening civil society institutions. Previously, as Executive Director of the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA), she established the regional office of the Soros Foundation in Dakar, Senegal and launched its operations to support civil society institutions, non-governmental organizations and government agencies working nationally and regionally in the areas of human rights, HIV/AIDS, democracy and governance, media, information technology, legal reform and transitional justice. She has also worked as Africa Program Director at the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and directed projects for the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) HIV and Development division.

DavidDavid Tam-Baryoh, is Executive Director of the Center for Media, Education & Technology (CMET), the Freetown, Sierra Leone-based League affiliate. He is the former secretary-general of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists and publisher of Punch newspaper. He also reports for the World Press Review. Tam-Baryoh studied social and political philosophy in Nigeria and journalism at the Ghana Institute of Journalism in Accra in 1993. He is a member of several international press organizations, including the International Press Institute, Commonwealth Press Union, World Association of Newspapers, and UCIP. Mr Tam-Baryoh is on the Board of the National Accountability Group and the Lawyer's Center for Legal Assistance.

Gibril Foday Musah, Voice of Youth Project Coordinator/Journalism Trainer,Gibril is a career journalist with degrees in History from Fourah Bay College and Mass Communications from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. He has worked for a number of print publications including New Tablet, For di People, The Sierra Leone Daily Mail and Liberia's New Nation. Mr. Musah's broadcast media career as a radio producer and trainer began with Talking Drum Studio in Sierra Leone, a program of the U.S.-based Search for Common Ground.

OnyekaOnyeka Obasi, currently the Africa Program Researcher at the International League for Human Rights, received her masters in Public Health with a concentration in International Health from Boston University School of Public Health in 2005 and a degree in Zoology with a concentration in Human Parasitology from University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1998. Ms. Obasi has worked as a program officer at the Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP) in Lagos Nigeria where she assisted in designing projects and developing resource/training materials and seminars. She has interned with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the United Nations Division for the Advancement of Women. Ms. Obasi's publications include Zero Tolerance - Nigerian Men Against Domestic Violence.

Ethel Sillah
, Staff Journalist, is an experienced radio journalist and her career in radio has included numerous positions, including executive producer, presenter, and youth trainer among others. She has worked extensively in youth radio programming with SKYY Radio. Ms. Sillah has received professional training in elections monitoring, media ethics and youth media programming.

FatmataFatmata Kargbo, Staff Journalist, is a career radio journalist who holds degrees in Community Development Studies from Milton Margai College of Education and Technology and in Business Studies and Computers from the Southern Agro-Industrial Development Associate Centre. Her diverse experience includes work with the Association for Rural Development, Planned Parenthood and numerous publications. As a journalist, Ms. Kargbo has received training from UNICEF, covered the Common-wealth Summit in Nigeria, and served in various roles at the Citizen FM (Community Radio Station) including Reporter and Assistant Producer of Children's Programs.

IfyIfy Eronini is the technical consultant and webmaster for the Voice of Youth Media project. As an Information Technology and Web Design specialist, she has worked with organizations such as Oxfam (UK), the British Council, and the Open Society Initiative for West Africa, maintaining their websites as well as acting as a technical advisor and logistics consultant. Ms. Eronini has a diverse background in administration and finance to augment her technical capabilities. Based in Dakar, Senegal, she is also a certified English instructor. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Library Science from Abia State University in Nigeria and recently received a Cambridge English Language Teaching of Adults Certificate in the UK.
